About

Built by operators who buy and run mobile apps

Brilic Apps is the app acquisition arm of Brilic Media, a mobile app company based in Chisinau, Moldova. Brilic Media started in 2018 as a small team building its own iOS and Android products, and has since grown a portfolio used by tens of millions of people worldwide across utilities, media tools, browsers and games.

Buying apps was never a side activity for us. Over the years we bought products from founders who wanted out, took them over, and grew them. Every one of those deals ran through the same friction: valuations pulled out of thin air, financials nobody had verified, brokers who understood spreadsheets but not subscriptions, refund rates or store policy. We built Brilic Apps to remove that friction, first for ourselves and now for everyone else.

That history is the difference between us and a listings site. We are not a directory where anyone can post an app and hope. We verify revenue, downloads, subscription data and costs before an opportunity reaches a buyer, and we qualify buyers by budget and transaction history before they reach a founder. When a valuation lands on your screen, it comes from people who have paid real money for apps like yours.

It also means a sale is not the only outcome we can offer. Some founders come to us for a valuation and leave with a marketing partnership or an investment instead, because we can operate an app rather than only broker it. That option does not exist at a traditional brokerage.

We work across iOS and Android, on single apps, mobile games and full portfolios, and we handle the whole transaction: valuation, NDA, data room, LOI, due diligence, purchase agreement, escrow, asset transfer and the transition period afterwards.

A team that understands both sides of the deal

Three departments, each led by people who have done the work themselves rather than advised on it from the outside.

M&A and Valuation department
M&A and Valuation
Deal sourcing, financial analysis, negotiation and transaction execution. This is the team that prices an app against comparable transactions rather than a rule of thumb, and that runs the LOI, diligence and escrow process to close.
Operator-led department
Product and Engineering department
Product and Engineering
Technical due diligence, scalability, security and code-quality evaluation. They have shipped and maintained apps at scale themselves, so they know which parts of a codebase become a buyer's problem six months after the transfer.
Operator-led department
Growth and Monetization department
Growth and Monetization
ASO, paid acquisition, paywalls, subscriptions and creative strategy. They map what an app could earn under better operators, which is what turns a listing from a set of numbers into a case a buyer can act on.
